What is YHY BC?
YHY BC is one of the branches of the registered youth non-profit, Youth Helping Youth, which was founded in 2019. We all have a common goal-- to empower youth in reaching their full potential.
How can we have our opportunity featured?
If your opportunity is available to those in British Columbia, Canada, click the linktree in our bio and fill out the opportunity feature request form! We will try our best to accommodate your deadline and have a post up for you.
Can I apply to YHY now?
If you are interested in joining our team and there isn’t a hiring round currently open, please feel free to reach out to us at bc@youthelpingyouth.org and we can speak with you about any opportunities at YHYBC!
What kinds of opportunities does YHY provide?
YHY provides youth with several types of opportunities; ranging from volunteering opportunities, internships, youth-centered events, among many others. We like to tailor opportunities to youth, specifically.

YHY BC shares and features vital opportunities through our social media platforms while planning and hosting free events catered to youth.
What are YHY BC's goals for the future?
Youth Helping Youth hopes to inspire the next generation of leaders and changemakers. The ultimate goal is to become a platform where youth feel empowered to take initiative in their own lives. The organization itself is a bridge between organizations who want to advertise their own events and students wanting to embrace personal development.
When was Youth Helping Youth BC established?
In 2021, YHY BC was established on the values of inclusion, community, leadership, innovation, and service. YHY's mission is supporting youth, by providing them with opportunities (such as paid jobs, internships, conferences, workshops, etc.) they need to succeed in today's world. These opportunities are promoted through our social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and an ever-growing email list).
Who is Youth Helping Youth?
Youth Helping Youth (YHY) is a student-led, non-profit organization that promotes opportunities for youth in [North America]. Through social media, word of mouth, connections with local community centers, partnerships with organizations, and their own events, this group connects their rapidly-increasing audience with opportunities to enhance leadership skills, discover passions, apply for jobs and volunteer positions, gain real-life experience, find mentorship and network with like-minded people!
